Robert Ludlow, more commonly known as Lockdown, was an experiment stored in the sublevels of Pelvanida. His cell number was 8Z. Lockdown had the power to turn objects or individuals into anti-matter, causing them to break apart into ether particles.

He was the oldest experiment in the sublevels, being the only non-integrated experiment created in the 90s.

Character history

1995

On September 22, Dr. Richard Anderson witnessed Lockdown turn a cabinet into a similar amount of anti-matter. Sometime later during October, Anderson's assistant Earnest MacElroy witnessed Lockdown turn a clipboard into anti-matter. Both recorded the events in their online diaries, which Rudyard Shelton read during the terrorist invasion in February 2009.

February 2009

Lockdown was one of the primary targets of the terrorists, since they wanted him to power the Einstein-Rosen bridge. A strike team led by Cale infiltrated the sublevels and captured Lockdown, and started to lead him back to the hangar. Cale, Slash, and Agito later defected from the terrorists, and the remaining members of the strike team were joined by the terrorist commander and his assistant Broughton. With the help of rogue Pelvanida security guards led by Carl Carstairs, the team broke into auxiliary control. They also captured Dr. Rudyard Shelton.

However, James' team arrived to rescue Shelton, and all the enemies in auxiliary control except possibly Pietrson were killed. Lockdown was left at auxiliary control when the team assaulted the hangar, since he was too dangerous to bring close to the terrorists. He remained there until the Pelvanida incident ended. (Disruptive Selection)

March 2009

On March 1st, Lockdown attempted to travel through the rebuilt Einstein-Rosen bridge as part of James Zanasiu's away team. He panicked while traveling through the wormhole and turned the bridge into antimatter, creating the bridge accident. (Card of Ten)
