Leither briefly checked on Ashley during one of her meetings with Halsey. He didn't enter the tent and left when she ordered him to.
September 3008[]
Leither took a team of men throughout Pelvanida attempting to locate Dr. James Zanasiu. He was successful, and brought him to Ashley.
Later Ashley took him and a burly terrorist to Dr. Luddly's lab to strong-arm the canary experiment into delving James' mind. At this point James, Ken and Ender McThair staged an escape and whie attempting to stop them Leither was killed by Ken. (Ground One)
