Caltrops are a hazard encountered in the streets level of Gamer 2.
The Police have them scattered in two places during their half of the level. If Hailey steps on them, she'll lose her deflector plate. However, the caltrops aren't capable of harming her after that, though she'll still fall down if she steps on them while unarmed.

- The caltrops are the only enemy/hazard in the game that can't kill Hailey (not counting the tutorial zombie in the Menu level.)
